The Ambassador of European Union to Bhutan, Joao Gomes Cravinho, called on Prime Minister, Tshering Tobgay, at the Gyalyong Tshogkhang, this morning.
Conveying his wishes to the EU for being awarded the Nobel Prize for Peace in 2012, Lyonchhen told Mr. Cravinho that it gave him great satisfaction to see EU doing a phenomenal job in working towards the advancement of global peace and harmony.
Mr. Cravinho said EU has a huge responsibility in striving towards achieving peace and harmony for all and winning the Nobel Prize is the attestation of their collective efforts and endeavors.
The EU Ambassador also assured Lyonchhen ofthe EU’s support in financing initiatives and projects for environmental conservation and economic prosperity
