Following the petrol price hike in neighbouring India, the price of petrol has increased in the country from this evening.
The price has increased by about Nu.1.61 to 1.67 per litre. Now, a liter of petrol in Thimphu will cost Nu.67.07 a litre, from the earlier price of Nu. 65.41 a litre.
This is the fourth hike in six weeks in India.
