Football coaching course for women

WomenCoachThe Bhutan Football Federation is organising the first Asian Football Confederation’s Women ‘C’ Certificate Coaching course in Punakha.

The course which began on July 3 will end on July 16. Twenty two participants consisting of School Sports instructors, senior national women players and teachers are taking part.

Kinley Yangchen,a course coordinator from the Bhutan Football Federation says interest in women’s football is growing, and there is, therefore, a need for certified coaches for women.

During the two week course, participants will be taught the principles of teaching and coaching, the principle of play, as well as practical skills of the game.
