(Update:) The Royal Civil Service Commission hasn’t received any letter from the education ministry, concerning the teacher who apparently joined politics without resigning, as of now.

RCSC’s Commissioner Pritiman Pradhan said, since the issue cannot be discussed without proper commission meeting, the issue will be tabled for discussion on Tuesday.

The Chief Election Commissioner, Dasho Kunzang Wangdi, said when parties submit the letter of intent, they require the VIPC number, degree certificate attested from the Royal University of Bhutan and the details of the candidates. The scrutiny of the candidates is done before the general elections.
