The Police in Trashigang have arrested a 26-year-old man in connection with a burglary, which took place in December, last year.
The suspect had allegedly broken into a shop in Phongmey and stolen goods worth about Nu.200,000. The suspect had then sold all the stolen goods and bought clothes from Phuentsholing to be sold in Trashigang. The suspect, a former convict, was arrested yesterday in Trashigang town.
The Police could not recover the stolen goods but have seized the goods which he supposedly bought from Phuentsholing.
