Punakha Wangchen likely to attract large number of devotees

Punaka-Pel-Dechog-Khorlo-Dompai-WangchenOver 70,000 devotees from across the country are likely to attend Pel Dechog Khorlo Dompai Wangchen.

One of the largest spiritual gatherings, the Pel Dechog Khorlo Dompai Wangchen, will begin in Punakha tomorrow. His Holiness the Je Khenpo will preside over the Wangchen.Punaka-Pel-Dechog-Khorlo-Dompai-Wangchen.

“By tonight everything will be ready for tomorrow. We are expecting about 50,000 to 70,000 people for the Wang,” said a member of the event, Kado.

The Wangchen will be held for 21 days starting tomorrow.
