PM Modi announces 100 billion rupees for Bhutan’s 13th Five-Year Plan

Speaking at the award ceremony, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that the Government of India will provide 100 billion rupees for Bhutan’s 13th Five-Year Plan. He also emphasised India’s commitment to support Bhutan’s vision of becoming a high-income country by 2034. He said Bhutan and India will strengthen collaboration in connectivity through air, water, and railway, and also in infrastructure, and energy sectors.
