The National Medical Services has submitted a proposal to ensure service quality and reliability at the Jigme Dorji Wangchuck National Referral Hospital to the Prime Minister. It was submitted yesterday.

The proposal is submitted following the Prime Minister’s directives to the health ministry to propose a set of recommendations to ensure service quality and reliability at the national referral hospital issued last week.

According to sources, the prime minister is reviewing the proposal. The details of the proposal are not known yet. The prime minister visited the national referral hospital, yesterday, to meet with nurses and to follow up on the recommendations to make improvements in the hospital.
