The National Airline, Drukair, resumed its flight operations to Bathapalathang domestic airport in Bumthang on Tuesday.
Drukair will be flying to Bumthang thrice a week. Drukair’s General Manager for domestic flight said the flight operation was resumed only after the resurfaced runway was examined.
Drukair will also resume its flight operations to Trashigang after assessing the resurfaced runway next week. Drukair suspended its flight operations to Bumthang and Trashigang six months ago.
