The Dorji Lopen of the Central Monastic Body consecrated Takchu Goenzin Dratshang in Uesu Gewog in Haa today. According to Dzongkhag Tshogdu Chairperson Tenzin Jamba, upon the Royal Command from His Majesty The King, reconstruction of the Lhakhang began in 2014. The chairperson said that His Majesty granted a fund of more than 20 million ngultrum for the reconstruction. The Lhakhang, which was built in the 19th century was destroyed by an earthquake in 2011.
