U-17 badminton teams win bronze medals

Bhutan’s Under-17 women’s double and mixed double badminton teams have secured bronze medals at the South Asia Regional Junior Badminton Championship 2023, held at Kathmandu, in Nepal. They lost to the Maldives and Sri Lanka in the semi-finals played yesterday. Four boys and four girls represented Bhutan in the tournament. The five-day championship which ended today saw 46 participants from Bhutan, Bangladesh, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. The Bhutanese team will return home on Thursday.
