His Royal Highness Prince Jigyel Ugyen Wangchuck, the president of the Bhutan Olympic Committee, inaugurated the football stadium with artificial turf at Babena in the capital today. This is the seventh artificial turf football pitch to be constructed by the Committee in the country with FIFA funding. The stadium has been constructed with a budget of more than Nu 28 M. According to the BOC, the new pitch will be used for club training.
