(Moenlam Chenmo update): The week-long Moenlam Chenmo in Samtse, presided over by His Holiness the Je Khenpo, ended with Nidup Lhawang today.
His Holiness also conferred blessings of Marmay Moenlam to the devotees gathered at Samtse football ground.
The Moelam Chhenmo, which began on 22nd of this month, was conducted for peace and prosperity of the country, King, and all sentient beings.
Thousands of devotees from as far as Phuentsholing, Gomtu and Samtse gathered everyday for reciting the Mani and for blessings.
According to the organisers, the Moelom Chhenmo in Samtse is an annual event first started in 2011. It was jointly initiated by Samtse Dzongkhag, local people and the business community.
