The 8th session of the parliament will begin from tomorrow.
During the two week long session, the National Assembly members will deliberate on the tobacco control amendment bill, the Druk Gyalpo’s relief fund bill, the disaster management bill, and the education city bill.
The National Council members will deliberate on the Bhutan institute of medical sciences bill, the national flag bill, the tobacco control bill and the consumer’s protection bill.
In the joint sitting, the parliamentarians will discuss the child adoption bill, the sales tax, customs and excise (amendment) bill, the public finance (amendment) bill and the election (amendment) bill.
