Druk Thuendrel Tshogpa declares three more candidates

The Druk Thuendrel Tshogpa declared three more candidates in the capital today. The candidates will represent a constituency each in Wangdue Phodrang, Pema Gatshel, and Dagana. With this, the party has declared 44 candidates, so far.

The party’s candidate for the Lhamoi Dzingkha-Tashiding constituency in Dagana is 37-year-old Bishnulal Bandari. He graduated from the Royal Thimphu College with a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance. Before joining the party, he ran an IT sales and service business in Thimphu.

33-year-old, Jampay Yeshi will represent the party from Nganglam Constituency in Pema Gatshel. He graduated from the RVS College of Arts & Science in India with a Bachelor of Commerce in Information and Technology. He has been running a business in Nganglam for almost six years.

Likewise, Nim Gyeltshen is the party’s candidate from Athang-Thedtsho Constituency in Wangdue Phodrang. The 38-year-old has an honors degree in Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Saint Joseph’s College in Darjeeling. Before joining the party, he was running a private business for a decade.

He also contested in the 2018 National Assembly elections and the recent National Council elections.

The Druk Thuendrel Tshogpa is one of the country’s five registered political parties.
