Dorji Lopen of the Central Monastic Body conferred Dhar to newly appointed Droden Lam and Umze of Thimphu Lingzhi. 31-year-old Kencho Sithup is the new Droden Lam. He is from Lingzhi and started his monastic education at the age of 12. He also completed three years retreat from Tango Dzongkha.
The new Lingzhi Umze is 32-year-old Namgay Dorji from Soe Gewog in Thimphu. He entered monkhood at the age of 13.
