The road block at Takti, some 74 kilometres away from Phuentsholing towards Thimphu has been cleared and opened to traffic at around 6 pm today. The block apparently occurred at around 12:30 PM after a huge boulder fell from above the road.
The Road Safety and Transport Authority’s Base In charge in Tsimasham, Ugyen, said men and machinery were deployed at the site to clear the blockage.
