Druk Thuendrel Tshogpa declares three candidates

The Druk Thuendrel Tshogpa has declared three of its candidates for the upcoming parliamentary elections. The candidates were declared today in Punakha.

Sonam Wangyel Wang

Sonam Wangyel Wang is their candidate for the Lingmukha-Toedwang constituency in Punakha. The 52-year-old has a PhD in Natural Resource Policy and Management and has served in various positions including as a research professor at the Korea University in Seoul and under different positions in the agriculture ministry.

Kinley Dorji

Kinley Dorji will be contesting from the Khamaed Lunana constituency in Gasa. The 41-year-old has a bachelor’s degree in commerce and served as the DPT’s MP for the constituency from 2008 to 2013. He also worked in the tourism and construction sectors.

Tenzin Wangchuk

And Tenzin Wangchuk is the DTT’s candidate for the Drametse-Ngatshang constituency of Monggar. The 44-year-old has a post-graduate degree in social science and has over two decades of working experience in various fields in the private sector.
