Her Majesty the Queen Mother Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck visits schools in Tsirang

Her Majesty the Queen Mother Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck visited Pungtenchhu and Mendrelgang Primary Schools, and Tsirang Toed Central School in Tsirang today. Meeting with the Tarayana club members and teachers, Her Majesty urged them to continue serving communities and disadvantaged families with compassion. Her Majesty is the Royal Patron of the Tarayana Foundation. Her Majesty also visited the Pungtenchhu Goenzin Dratshang. 

Including six in Tsirang, there are 128 Tarayana clubs across the country as of today. Her Majesty the Queen Mother is on a Royal Tour to Dagana and Tsirang since Sunday to oversee housing and other livelihood projects initiated by the Tarayana foundation and to discuss the foundation’s upcoming projects.
