Two detainees escaped from the Thimphu City Police detention centre on Sunday night. One of them is 23-year-old, Ngawang Dorji, from Trashiyangtse. The other one is 21-year-old, Pemba, from Wangduephodrang.
Police have announced a reward of Nu.10,000 for anyone who informs the police about the whereabouts of the two detainees.
Both were arrested in May this year.
