The two-day Regional Sports Meet in Wangduephodrang ended today. About 290 students from Gasa, Punakha and Wangduephodrang took part in the event. The event was held at Bajo Higher Secondary School. The event had games like football, table tennis, Badminton, basketball and chess, for both men and women.
According to the Dzongkhag School Sports Coordinator, Phurba Wangdi, the winners will compete at the National level.
The event was organised by the Regional Sports Meet and was funded by the Games and Sports Department under the Ministry of Education.
