The 16th annual consultation meeting on economic cooperation between Bhutan and Japan was held virtually today. The two sides discussed Japan’s assistance to Bhutan and the progress report on the mid-term review of the 12th five-year plan.

The meeting also discussed new project proposals submitted to the Japanese government and reviewed the ongoing projects in the country. The annual consultation between the two countries was constituted in 2006.
