Search for three missing boys in Trashi Yangtse is underway. The boys, all students of Baylling Central School in Trashi Yangtse, are feared washed away by the flash flood that swelled the Serkangchhu yesterday between 2:30 – 3 PM.

According to officials, four boys went to the stream in the afternoon to take bath when the mishap occurred. While one of the boys escaped unhurt, the three went missing. Police, DeSuups and volunteers were involved in the search and rescue since yesterday. The search team is now looking along the Kholongchhu.

Parents/Guardians of the boys have been informed.
