In recent times, Bhutanese women have started to break barriers and establish names for themselves in the most often male-dominated world of work. From assuming leadership roles in the governance to taking up jobs of both white and blue-collar, Bhutanese women have come a long way to set a trend for the younger generations.
In Gelegphu, a woman has not only become arguably the lone female paint technician at an automobile workshop but is also touted to be among the finest paint technician the district has known to date.
