Samtse complete its first De-Suung National Service Water Project

Samtse completed its first Water Project executed under the De-Suung National Service at Lingthang in Sangngagchogling Gewog. The project was officially handed over to the gewog today. The project will help irrigate over a hundred acres of fields benefiting the livelihoods of 54 households of Lingthang and Khangzangling villages. Initially, the project was expected to cost about Nu 32 M but was completed at a cost of about Nu 25 M. About a hundred De-Suups were engaged in the project which began in September, last year.
