Eleven people from four families, including one male, have been admitted in Damphu Hospital in Tsirang after they suffered from diarrhoea, vomiting and fever today. All the patients had consumed locally baked cakes from Damphu town on Saturday. The eldest from the lot is 53 years old and the youngest three years old.
Dr. Tejnath Nepal of Damphu Hospital told our bureau correspondent, Yeshi Nidup that all the patients are in stable condition.
The official from the Bhutan Agriculture and Food Regulatory Authority says they are investigation the case.
