Paro FC’s hope to go on the top of the BoB Bhutan Premier League table was crushed by Transport United FC. Paro FC lost 2-3 to title contender Transport United FC at the Changlimithang stadium on Tuesday.

Transport United are third on the league table with 37 points while Paro FC are held back at 41 points trailing Thimphu City FC on goal difference.

In the first half of the match, Transport United FC scored an early goal. However, in the second half, Paro FC put on a staggering performance scoring two back-to-back goals. They held on to the lead until the 76th minute. However, Transport United came back strong with an equaliser at the 77th minute and delivered the final blow just minutes after the equalizer.

In the next match, Ugyen Academy FC will take on Gomo FC at the Ugyen Academy ground in Punakha on Wednesday.
