The Bhutanese students studying in Thailand will now have a platform to interact and help each other. The Bhutanese Students Association of Thailand (BSA) was officially launched in Bangkok on Sunday.

It was formed to provide necessary help and support to the Bhutanese students studying in Thailand, especially in times of emergency.

It was launched by the Bhutan Ambassador to Thailand, Kezang Wangdi, at Bhutanese Embassy in Bangkok.

More than 120 Bhutanese student members from different universities in Thailand gathered to elect the president of the Association.

Once the registration of the membership is complete, the list will be submitted to the Ministry of Education.

Currently, there are more than 300 members from nine different universities in Thailand.
