The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) is verifying an embezzlement case involving the Chairperson of Draagteng Dairy Development Cooperative in Trongsa District.

The commission received the Dzongkhag Administration’s preliminary report on Wednesday.

According to the report, the alleged person is accused of embezzling the cooperative’s fund of more than Nu 142,000. However, the Chairperson has reimbursed Nu 35,000 to the cooperative.

The Dzongkhag Administration probed into the case after members of the Draagteng Dairy Development Corporation logged complaint against the chairperson.
