In the ongoing BOB Bhutan Premier League, Thimphu City defeated Gomo FC 2-0 in Punakha today to keep the pressure on league leaders Paro FC. Gomo FC managed to hold the Cityzens to a goalless first half, but second-half strikes from Phuntsho Jigme and captain Tshering Dorji sealed the win for the visitors.

And over the weekend, Paro FC beat Paro Rinpung FC on Saturday with a solitary goal from Tsheltrim. On Sunday, Transport United was dealt with another blow to their title hopes when they were held to a 0-0 draw away at Druk Lhayul FC.

Four more matches are scheduled for this week, beginning tomorrow when Tensung FC take on High Quality United at the Changlimithang.
