Two households in Khyimdro-Nemphel chiwog under Phobji Gewog in Wangdue Phodrang lost their ready-to-harvest potatoes to a flash flood on Monday night.
According to a source, heavy rainfall fed the small stream in the village triggering the flash flood which damaged more than 50 decimal of the potato field.
Gewog officials submitted the damage assessment to the Dzongkhag Administration yesterday.
