A week already and the roadblocks between Samtse and Dorokha Dungkhag are yet to be cleared. The major road blocks are at Thumkay, Yabala and Basanty under Dorokha Dungkhag.
The road blocks have caused a major inconvenience to the students. Many students are still stuck in their villages even as their schools have resumed after a summer break. Also, the landslides have caused power failure in Dorokha. An official said they have called the Hotline numbers but there has been no response as yet.
