Druk Lhayul FC defeated Tensung FC in the ongoing Bhutan Premier League scoring three back to back goals in the first half of the game.

The goalless second half saw the losing team in an intense rage of comeback but failed to convert the chain of chances. They had to settle for the three to zero loss against the champions of the Thimphu District League 2021.

Meanwhile, with zero defeats so far in the first round of the Bhutan Premier League, Thimphu City FC and Paro FC are leading the league table with sixteen points each. The defending champions, Thimphu City FC are dominating the league with 27 goals, the highest number of goals scored so far in competition.

The first round of the league will end on 27th this month. Sixteen matches are yet to be played.

Ten teams from three districts are competing for the prestigious BPL title.
