Fifty one years old Ramjar Gup of Trashiyangtse died on the spot when the Alto car he was driving, went off road at Mugthangkhar, along the Trashigang-Trashiyangtse highway. The accident occurred at 3 pm today.
The two passengers in the vehicle escaped with minor injuries. They were on their way back to Ramjar from Trashigang.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
