A 38-year-old man has been killed on the spot after he was hit by falling boulders at a farm road construction site in Buli Geonpa under Nangkhor Gewog in Zhemgang at about 5:15 pm yesterday.
The deceased and his other four friends were working on the construction of the new farm road of Buli Geonpa. The deceased was hit on the head while they were returning to their camp after the day’s work from the site. The others escaped the accident unscathed.
The deceased is said to be having speech and hearing impairments. He is survived by his wife and two children.
