HH the Je Khenpo administers lhabsang thruesoel as Lhuentse receives COVID vaccine

His Holiness the Je Khenpo administered lhabsang thruesoel and presided over the prayer of Sangay Menlha at the Namdruling Goenzin Dratshang in Lhuentse today as the district received over 9,700 doses of Covishield today. 

Lhuentse Dzongkhag has 75 vaccination posts.

Similarly, Monggar Dzongkhag received 24,000 doses of the vaccine yesterday.  Monggar has more than a hundred vaccination posts. The vaccines were airlifted to Yonphula in Kanglung and from there the refrigerated vans transported to Monggar and Lhuentse.

Meanwhile, gewogs of Lunana and Laya in Gasa Dzongkhag received 470 and 620 doses of COVID-19 vaccine respectively, today. Gasa hospital received 1,400 doses. According to the District Health Officer, the Dzongkhag is almost ready with the plans and preparedness to begin the vaccination of COVID-19 on Saturday. As per the officer, the dzongkhag has identified 14 vaccination posts in the dzongkhag and has a total of 2,205 registered people eligible for the vaccine.
