Thousands of Bhutanese lost their jobs due to the pandemic. The Tourism and Hospitality sector was the worst hit. Even today, they are facing an uncertain future with COVID-19 showing no signs of slowing down. However, it was not difficult for those laid off as they received the Druk Gyalpo’s Relief Kidu since April last year.
