The Prime Minister attended the consecration of the recently renovated Chorten Dangrim at Lungtenphu in Thimphu, yesterday. The renovation of the structure was started in January. A project to renovate the Chorten Dangrim along with two other structures was initiated last year to celebrate the birth of His Royal Highness Gyalsey Ugyen Wangchuck.

The renovation project was carried out by the Thimphu Thromde. The Chorten Dangrim is believed to be over three hundred years old.
