Boomdeling Gewog in Trashi Yangtse is known for producing the Urka Bangla, a unique species of chilli. Despite a decline in the overall production of Urka Bangla this year, the locals fetched a better price. Trashi Yangtse identified the Urka Bangla as one of the commodities for enterprise development in 2015 considering its uniqueness and popularity.
