Trashigang District Court dismissed the petition submitted by three chiwog tshogpas of Chaling, Shongphu and Tongling citing the case as an administrative related issue.
The petition was submitted on Monday by the tshogpas who were not happy with the Ministry of Works and Human Settlement (MoWHS) overturning the Dzongkhag Tshogdu’s decision of blacktopping the Merag Gewog centre road through Chaling. The MoWHS has decided to blacktop the GC road through Khardung under Radhi Gewog.
