The long lost glory of Dobji Dzong built, under Dokar Gewog in Paro, in the 16th century is finally resurrecting. Today, the fortress is abuzz with at least 50 people visiting daily. The number doubles during auspicious days. Not long ago people feared visiting the Dzong for its dark history of housing the country’s most notorious prisoners.
