Samdrup Jongkhar sees its first vermicompost unit

Samdrup Jongkhar Dzongkhag Agriculture Sector has come up with vermicomposting for the farmers to boost up their agriculture products.  Vermicompost is a product of the decomposition process using earthworms to make organic waste into high-quality compost.

Tshering Gyelpo, a farmer in Dewathang Gewog, will be operating the vermicomposting unit, the agriculture sector helped him to set up.
