Updating on the health status of the second COVID-19 patient in the country, the Health Minister said the patient is stable. The 59-year-old partner of the first COVID-19 patient reported in the country tested positive on 20th March.

“She is stable, healthy and well. Till now there are no complications and she is doing well so far. I have been in touch with her sister who is her immediate family member. I have communicated with her two to three times and updated her on the patient’s status. For now, there is no separate treatment required for her as she is okay. We will update on her health status from time to time,” said Dechen Wangmo, the Health Minister.
