Education in the New Normal – Special News Edition

Education in Bhutan witnessed a paradigm shift amid the Coronavirus pandemic this year. Google classrooms, e-learning on television and radio, and SIM (Self Instructional Materials) have become the new normal in education.

As we enter into the sixth month of this new phase in education, BBS takes a look at how students, educators and parents are navigating some of the key challenges, while at the same time, we explore how the new normal has triggered much-needed reforms in the education system.
