Schools across the country will have standard prayer books now. Her Majesty the Queen Mother Tshering Yangdon Wangchuck and Dorji Lopen launched the prayer books at Kuensel Phodrang today.
According to the Education Ministry, currently, different schools recite different prayers and students had difficulty learning prayer as they change schools. The standard prayer book will create uniformity in school.
Education Ministry in collaboration with Zhung Dratshang has published 40,000 prayers books for now.
