Shops burgled in Phuentsholing

Three shops at lower market area in Phuentsholing were robbed last night. The owners of the beer agency, a pan shop and a grocery shop came to know about the robbery this morning.

A cash box containing more than Nu. 100,000 was stolen from the grocery shop. The shop belongs to an Indian national. According to him the money was kept for buying mobile vouchers since he is one of the authorised distributor in Phuentsholing.

Another Nu. 62,000 and seven cases of hit beer were stolen from the beer agency. The owner of the pan shop lost mobile vouchers and some cash worth Nu. 8000.

Police are investigating the case.
