His Holiness the Je Khenpo conferred dhar to the newly appointed Principal of Kanglung Thukten Choekhorling Shedra under Trashigang today at the Namdruling Goenzin Dratshang in Lhuentse today.
34-year-old Jampel Rangdrol from Maenbi in Lhuentse started his monastic education from Lhuentse Dratshang at the age of 12 and graduated from Tango Buddhist University. After graduation, he received various teachings from His Holiness the Je Khenpo, Kyabje Jitsun Tenzin Dondup and Lama Neten of Trashigang Karma Rangdrol. He also completed three years retreat from Chari Drubdhey.
Prior to his current appointment, he served as teacher and headteacher in Kanglung Thukten Choekhorling Shedra in Trashigang.
