With just 4 aircraft, the Royal Bhutan Airlines now introduces commercial flight operation to Dili in East Timor, which is in Southern part of the Equator.
Chartered by Air Timor for a year, Drukair will fly twice in a week from Singapore to East Timor. Drukair says it increases aircraft utilization. Otherwise, Drukair’s aircraft remain idle during night halts in less restricted airports like in Bangkok and Singapore.
The chartered flight to Dili will be operational after the arrival of the scheduled flight to Singapore. Drukair had its inaugural flight today.
