In what was a rare sight for the head of the government to take a walk without security in a foreign land, Prime Minister Dr Lotay Tshering and the Bhutanese delegation walked to the UN headquarters.

Lyonchhen on the official Facebook page for Prime Minister’s Office stated that he would be uncomfortable to travel in a car and talk on health and climate. They walked to attend the first high-level meeting on Universal health coverage, followed by Climate Action Summit.

Prime Minister is in New York attending the 74th United Nations General Assembly.
