Thimphu police found a dead body of a 16-year-old girl in Wangchhu at Ramtokto at around 12 noon today. The deceased was a class eight student in Thimphu.
The deceased’s parents told the police that the girl went missing after they scolded her for coming home under the influence of alcohol yesterday. They said they went in search of her but was not able to find her.
The case is being investigated.
